With so many members' complimenting her on the delicious cookies served at meetings, Hospitality Chair Eileen Szperka thought it might be helpful--and fun--to create a "Cookie Corner."  So, if you have a favorite recipe, shoot her an email or bring a copy to our next meeting--it's a sweet way to share!

2/3 cup of softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups flour
1can frosting
Preheat oven to 375. Beat butter, add sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat until ingredients are combined. Add egg, milk, and vanilla until combined. Slowly beat in flour. Divide dough in half. Chill about 30 minutes.
Roll half the dough at a time to about 1/8 thickness . Use heart shaped cookie cutter and place cutouts on parchment covered cookie sheets.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes until lightly brow. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
When cool drizzle frosting over.
